Barcodes for stock that never came with one
A great deal of what Indian shops sell arrives with no barcode at all: loose goods, garments from a local maker, sweets, hardware, anything repacked. Tag2Track generates the code, designs the label and prints it, so those items can be scanned at the counter like everything else.

Once some of your stock scans and some of it has to be found in a list, the counter runs at the speed of the slow half. Staff start typing item names, typing the wrong one, and the stock figure begins to drift on exactly the items you can least afford to lose track of.
Generating your own codes fixes this. Each item gets a code that belongs to your shop, printed on a label in whatever format suits what you sell — a small price tag for a garment, a shelf edge label for a rack, a larger label for a carton going to a godown.

Codes generated for you
Every item can be given a code automatically, or you can use your own numbering if you already have one. Codes stay unique across the item master, so two products can never end up sharing one.
Labels you design once
Set what goes on the label — name, code, MRP, your selling rate, size, batch, expiry, your shop name — and the layout is reused from then on. Different label formats for different kinds of stock, so garments and grocery do not have to share one design.
Printing in batches
Print labels for a whole purchase as it is entered, for a range of items, or for a single item when a tag has been torn off. Quantities come from the purchase, so you are not counting how many labels to print.
Any label printer
Direct thermal for labels that get used and replaced, thermal transfer where the label has to survive months in a godown. Both print through the standard Windows driver, so the printer you already own almost certainly works.

Do I need a special label printer?
No. Any label printer that installs on Windows and takes your label size will work, direct thermal or thermal transfer. Tell us the model and we will confirm before you buy anything.
Can I print MRP and my own rate on the same label?
Yes. The label layout is yours to define, and MRP, selling rate, size, batch and expiry can all appear on it, along with your shop name.
What about items that already have a manufacturer barcode?
Those are scanned as they are; there is no reason to relabel them. Tag2Track is for the stock that arrived without a code.
