Jewellery billing software built around weight, purity and the daily rate
Stock2Track prices by weight and purity, follows the day’s metal rate, records old metal brought in against the same invoice, and tags every piece individually. Built in Hyderabad, for a trade where the price changes every morning.
Already built for a multi-store metalware house in Hyderabad. Read the case study below.
Today’s right price is not yesterday’s.
Jewellery and metalware break ordinary billing software in four ways at once: the price moves daily, the sale is negotiated, the payment may be part metal, and every single piece is valuable enough to track on its own.
- Metal rates move every morning, so the correct price for the same piece is different from one day to the next.
- Almost every sale is negotiated, and the salesperson has to know on the spot how far a price can come down without giving away the margin.
- That negotiating room cannot be printed in plain figures on a quotation the customer is holding.
- Customers bring old pieces to exchange, so an invoice is often settled part in money and part in metal.
- Standard software assumes a fixed price list and payment by cash, card or UPI. None of that describes this trade.
What Stock2Track does for a jewellery house
Weights to three decimal places
Gold is traded by the milligram. Weights carry three decimals end to end, so 12.345 g is 12.345 g on the quotation, on the bill and in stock, never rounded to something close enough.
The day’s rate, buying and selling
You buy metal as well as sell it. Stock2Track holds both the buying and the selling rate for each precious metal and updates them daily, so a sale, an exchange and a purchase from a customer are each priced correctly.
Wastage and other charges as their own lines
Wastage, making and any other charge your house applies are separate lines worked out your way, rather than squeezed into one making-charge box that hides how the figure was reached.
Tags small enough for the piece
Tag printing sized for jewellery, so a ring or a pair of earrings carries its own tag and serial number rather than a label bigger than the item.
Quotations that carry their own limit
We built a coded quotation system for a Hyderabad metalware house. The customer sees a reference code; trained staff read from it how far that price can move. Once a figure is agreed, the quotation becomes an invoice in one step.
Old metal adjusted against the new bill
An invoice can be paid in full, or adjusted against the value of old pieces the customer brings in, weighed and settled on the same screen instead of on a separate slip of paper.
What a jewellery bill carries
A jewellery bill is not a price list. Each line carries its purity, its weight in grams and the rate per gram, so the amount is worked out in front of the customer rather than looked up.
- Purity, weight in grams and rate per gram on every line.
- The rate follows the day you are billing on, not the day the item was tagged.
- Scan the tag on the piece to bring it up.
- Print the bill or hold it while the customer decides.

Three things every counter asks us for.
Park a bill, serve the next customer
Someone goes back for two more things. Park their bill, bill the person behind them, then pick the first one up again. Nobody queues behind a half-finished sale.
Role-based access, feature by feature
Decide what each person and each department can open. A cashier bills without being able to edit a price, change stock or see the margin on a sale.
Built for the evening rush
Keyboard shortcuts, barcode entry and a counter screen that does not make anyone hunt through menus when there are six people waiting.
We have already built this for a metalware house in Hyderabad
Built for how India actually does business.
Power cuts, patchy internet, GST filings and the printer you already own. Stock2Track was designed around them, not adapted later.
- E-invoices and e-way bills generated straight from the bill, with GST reports your accountant can file from.
- Keeps billing when the internet drops. The offline edition runs entirely on your own computer.
- Works with the hardware you own: barcode scanners, thermal and label printers, weighing scales and pole displays.
- Available in 5 languages: English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
- Windows at the counter, Android and iOS for the owner.
- Over 100 permissions, so a cashier can bill but cannot edit prices or see profit.
Two plans. The price is on the page.
Offline
Standalone power for one physical shop.Prices exclude GST. Need something this page does not cover? Our own engineers build it for you — see custom development.
Questions jewellery owners ask us
Does it handle a metal rate that changes every day?
Yes. The rate is updated daily and pricing follows it, so quotations and bills always use the current figure. We built exactly this for a metalware house in Hyderabad.
Can a customer pay partly with old gold or old metal?
Yes. An invoice can be settled in money, against the value of old pieces brought in, or a mix of both, recorded on the invoice itself rather than calculated separately on paper.
Can we stop staff from changing prices or seeing margins?
More than 100 permissions control who can do what. A salesperson can bill and negotiate within the limits you set without being able to edit a price or see the profit.
Can each piece be tracked individually?
Yes. Pieces can carry their own serial number and be tracked individually, and Tag2Track prints the tags for them.
Is this the same product as your retail software?
It is the same Stock2Track platform with the screens this trade needs switched on. Where a house prices or settles in its own way, CatchUs has its own engineering team and builds that part in.
What does it cost?
Rs 25,000 one-time for the Offline plan, or Rs 25,000 per year for Cloud, both excluding GST. Anything specific to your house is worked out with you during the demo.
